Okay, so I've been yucky sick and all sorts of stressed because of my school work and the work that the church library is going to need.......it's stressfull to think about; but I'm just glad I can do this stuff and not want to ram myself into pole or tree. I'm feeling peace within the chaos that is my life, and I'm so glad and thankful for it. I'm thankful for friends who finally seem like they're going to stick; I'm thankful for a purpose in my life, I'm thankful that I don't wake up feeling so numb and dead in the mornings, I'm thankful that I don't wake up and go to bed crying anymore. I'm so thankful that I can breathe again, truly breathe. I'm so thankful that I don't feel the need to scream or run or ram into things just to feel a connection to this world. I'm so thankful that each day is now an adventure instead of life being an endless drudgery.
I'm most of all thankful for a God who never gave up on me, who would find me in a drunken stupor and wrap Himself around me and still love me. I'm thankful for a God that stopped time and time again from ending it all. I'm thankful for His hand being over me even as a weird little kid who needed answers to everything. I'm thankful that I'm free and I'm even thankful for the turmoil in my life now (I'm thankful that I can feel it!).
